SAXON's 'Denim And Leather' turns 42, today September 25th 2023

Saxon Denim And Leather album'Denim And Leather' is the fourth studio album by English heavy metal band SAXON, released on September 25th in 1981.

The album was the third and final installment in an insanely strong trilogy that Saxon released in just a two-year span.

The album was certified Gold in the U.K., and was their highest charting album ever there, reaching no. 9 of the official album chart.

This was the last album to be released featuring the 'classic' line up of Saxon, as drummer Pete Gill would soon leave the band due to a hand injury, later joining Motörhead.

This was also the first Saxon album to be recorded outside of the U.K.
