Fantastic undiscovered KISS live footage from 1976 surfaces online

This week an amazing previously undiscovered video-clip of KISS performing live at the Tarrant County Convention Center Arena in Fort Worth, TX, USA on August 11th 1976 was published on Youtube by channel DFW Rock Show.

 

This surprising clear footage was filmed with a regular 8mm spring wound Bell & Howell "Electric Eye" home movie camera, which unfortunately didn't come with any audio.

 

The recording is particularly interesting because it includes footage of the shortlived so-called "Frankenstein" Lightning generator effect, which so far has never surfaced on video.

 

It didn't take long before a dedicted KISS fan matched the footage with audio from the same tour (the Houston date on the same tour).
