Today we salute iconic MOTORHEAD gunslinger, guitarist 'Fast' Eddie Clarke - born October 5th 1950

Fast Eddie Clarke RIP 

Fast Eddie Clarke was a legendary guitarist best known for his electrifying tenure with the iconic rock band MOTÖRHEAD.

 

Born on October 5, 1950, in London, England, he embarked on his musical journey in the early 1970s, eventually joining Motörhead in 1976. Clarke's distinctive guitar work and gritty, high-energy performances were instrumental in defining the band's signature sound. He contributed to classic albums like 'Ace Of Spades' and 'Overkill', leaving an indelible mark on the world of rock and metal.

 

Fast Eddie's enduring legacy as a hard-rocking pioneer endures, and his influence continues to inspire generations of musicians worldwide.

 

Fast Eddie died on January 10th 2018 from a pneumonia-related illness, the last standing member of the classic Motörhead line-up.
