"Vinny Appice, one of the most important heavy metal drummers in history, famous for having played with Black Sabbath, DIO and John Lennon, is coming to Sorocaba on October 25 for a concert that promises to be historic! The American musician will be accompanied by great names in Brazilian heavy metal, guitarist Edu Ardanuy (ex-Dr Sin), vocalist Nando Fernandes and bassist Fernando Giovannetti, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the classic album "Holy Diver", which Appice recorded with Ronnie James Dio in 1983.
This will be the drummer's third visit to Brazil with the same team of musicians and in addition to the show in Sorocaba at Hangar 51, a famous nightclub in the Campolim neighborhood, the tour will also pass through São Paulo/SP, Curitiba/SP, Teresina/PI, São Luis/MA and Santo André/SP. The Sorocaba show will feature a special appearance by the band The Giant Void, who will be performing the launch of their new album "Abyssal".
Vinny Appice's repertoire, as well as songs from the "Holy Diver" album, will also include other classics from DIO's solo career and the main compositions that the drummer recorded with Black Sabbath. Tickets cost R$ 100.00 (First Promotional Lot - Last units) and are on sale at Clube do Ingresso. Tours from other cities have special conditions.
